Gumbo Head Brass Band is an extremely versatile and funky band playing the music of New Orleans. The band is at its grooviest when playing New Orleans funk music, a sound very popular in New York but just getting started on this side of the Atlantic. For versatility, this band can play completely acoustically with greasy Sousaphone bass lines or with electric bass and guitar for more amplified situations…additionally, this band can expertly play the classic Dixieland repertoire.
